Being a Mummy and starting a family is something I’ve wanted for a long time. I think as you get older and wiser, you realise what really matters in life and family means everything to me!
I remember the day I found out I was pregnant. It was Wednesday 22nd June 2016 and it was 7am in the morning. I was due to catch a train to Nottingham to do a swimwear shoot. I don’t know what possessed me to take the test knowing I had 5 minutes to spare before my taxi was to arrive but I just had a feeling I was and I wanted to know.
My boyfriend Stuart was in bed peacefully sleeping, having a rare occasion lie in. I swung open the door, told him that we’re pregnant and then shut the door quickly. Poor Stuart must have been thinking what the hell is going on!!
Since then, time has flown by, in fact it’s gone too quick. My pregnancy has been amazing so far. I feel so lucky that I’ve had no complications and no morning sickness. The only thing I’ve suffered with is a bit of back pain. My body hasn’t changed too much except my boobs have gone massive but I’m not complaining and neither is Stuart.
I feel so blessed to have wonderful people around me through this time. I’ve had my wonderful boyfriend supporting me throughout. He can’t wait to be a Dad again, that’s what he does best. Mine and Stuarts family have also been amazing. They are always at the end of the phone if I need advice on anything.
We recently found out what we’re having and it’s a beautiful baby boy. I couldn’t wait, I just wanted to know so I could be prepared. I’m due on the 23rd of February 2017 which is only around the corner. It’s hard to believe nearly 6 months have passed since we found out!
Being pregnant so far has been an amazing experience. Every day, I look down at my stomach and can’t quite believe I’m growing life in there and that me and Stuart created it……WOW!! Bring on February 2017!
