Today is the day everyone looks forward to as we get to eat pancakes for breakfast, lunch and dinner!
Making pancakes brings the whole family together, though in my house, its a competition to see who’s pancake looks the nicest, or who can flip it the highest.
You may have already perfected your pancake recipe over the years, but if you haven’t. Don’t worry, we have saved two recipes that you can follow –
Jamie Oliver’s “One Cup” Pancakes – This recipe is for those who cant wait for the batter to set, or have little hands helping therefore the scales are out the window. All you need is one measuring cup, and ta da, perfect pancakes! Click here to see more.
Mary Berry’s Pancake Recipe – This recipe is for you if you have 40 minutes to wait or you simply want to impress your family with your new found skills. Click here to see more.
Toppings, toppings and more toppings!
Whether you like sugar and lemon, chocolate spread, bacon and maple syrup, there are toppings for everyone.
We’ve made a list of our favourite toppings (just in case you need some inspiration)
- Syrup and Bacon
- Sugar and Lemon
- Chocolate and Strawberries
- Peanut Butter
- Ice cream
- Fresh Cream
One last thing – Don’t flip your pancake too high. You don’t want to end up like Daddy pig!
Enjoy your beautiful hand made pancakes tonight (or store bought – no one needs to know!) I have a feeling we will be put off until next year.
