Update: the Shnuggle Classic Moses Basket and its separate Rocking and Folding stands have been discontinued. The Shnuggle Dreami Moses Basket & Stand is our current Moses basket, and it carries forward everything parents loved about the Classic.
When we first designed the Shnuggle Moses basket, we wanted to take a traditional wicker Moses basket and turn it into a modern, silent and easy to clean baby bed that parents could trust: stronger, quieter and more hygienic than wicker.
What the Classic and the Dreami had in common
The Dreami uses exactly the same base as the Classic did, so you get the same core benefits:
- A hypo-allergenic polypropylene base instead of wicker
- Silent – it can't creak when baby moves, helping keep them asleep
- Well ventilated and very easy to clean
- Lightweight, with the same strong handles for carrying room to room
- Bigger than a traditional Moses basket, suitable from birth to 6 months
- A mattress included
How the Dreami differs
- Stand included: the Classic was sold without a stand. The Dreami comes with the Curve Stand, so there's nothing extra to buy. If you need a replacement or a second stand, the Curve Stand is also sold on its own.
- Breathable mesh sides: the Classic was dressed in 100% cotton waffle fabric. The Dreami uses a cotton-faced breathable mesh.
- No hood: the Classic came with a removable hood. Like many first beds, the Dreami doesn't have one.
- Keeps baby close: the Dreami is designed as a complete baby sleep system that keeps baby close to you in their own cosy sleeping space, and moves easily around your home during the day.
