Newborn Baby Bath Support
The Baby Bath Support is designed for newborns 0-6 months and is an alternative way to bathe your newborn. Whilst the Shnuggle Baby Bath offers a more upright but supported position for baby, the newborn bath support cradles your baby in a more reclined position. The water level indicator helps you to know how much water to submerge the support in so you can ensure a safe and secure bathtime. As your baby starts to get used to water, the bath support partially submerges them so they can begin to adjust to the feeling before graduating to the Shnuggle Baby Bath and the Shnuggle Toddler Bath. The ergonomic design features a contoured backrest and soft-to-touch material that ensures your baby can enjoy their new bathing experience.

Baby Bath vs Baby Bath Support
The main difference between the baby bath and baby bath support is the suitable age range. Our Shnuggle Baby Bath can see your baby through their first year, whilst our bath support is exclusively for newborns 0-6 months. In essence, they are just different approaches to bathing your baby in the newborn stage. You may prefer to have your baby submerged in the warm bath water to get used to the feeling right away, or you may want to gradually introduce bathing by allowing them to experience being partially submerged. As the Bath Support requires the whole bath water to be warm rather than just the tub, this is something to consider. The Shnuggle Baby Bath allows your baby to have a more upright, supported position from the beginning, and the bum bump and foam headrest keeps them as comfortable as possible. The newborn bath support fully cradles your baby from the newborn stage in a more reclined position which some prefer initially. Whilst the bath stand cannot be used with the bath support, the Washy Bath Jug can be used for both products to keep your baby warm and cosy during their bath experience.

You may feel more comfortable using the support with your newborn, before moving onto the bath tub. Alternatively, you may want to start your baby in the bath tub you’ll continue using throughout their first year so they are used to it from the beginning.
